We have done a lot in the last week! We had a visit from Noah's friend Josh over the long weekend. While he was in town, Uncle Jordan came from Wisconsin. We thought we would have a BBQ while they were staying with us, and we invited a lot of other babies for Elana to play with. she had a blast. We also climbed Rattlesnake Ledge, went to the Northwest Folklife Festival, and went to a Mariners (vs Red Sox!!!) baseball game. did i forget something??

Among other things, Elana has been a little more cranky lately as she is trying and trying to master a few new skills. Yesterday she gripped her rattle for the first time AND almost rolled over to her back from her tummy. She has also MIRACULOUSLY been sleeping through the night for the last few weeks. when i say sleeping through the night, i mean sleeping NINE TO TEN HOURS WITHOUT WAKING!!!!!! we are truly blessed with a good sleeper. i know that it won't last, so i am enjoying it as much as possible now!

Tomorrow morning we leave on Elana's first plane ride to visit my family at their condo in Arizona. Sadly, we are leaving Papa Noah at home to go to work while we go have fun. Look
for pics from that trip around this time next week . . .

Happy 3-month birthday Elana!

Wow. I can hardly believe it has been 3 months since this angel was born. I can't even remember what life was like before Elana, and frankly I don't even want to think about it! She has enriched our lives so much. I am already dreading going back to work in August. I can hardly imagine leaving her with someone else for a whole day. I know I will get used to it, but for now I am enjoying every second i have with her. Below I have posted some pics of some recent activities that Elana and her friends have been partaking in.

Mother's Day

Taryn's first Mother's Day started out with a big brunch. We then went on a long walk in the sunshine. It was a great day.

Elana's new cap

It was sunny today so Elana wore her new cap. We went to a big plant sale and bought tomato starters.

Dancing Machine

Elana loves dancing on her changing table while staring at her mobile.
