Mountain Madness

Yesterday we headed to the mountains for a hike with Jen, JP, and Jonas. It was a beautiful day: 70s and sunny. Elana loved every minute and was on her best behavior for the 7 mile/5 hour adventure.



It was fun to get out of the house and hang out with the Brastad crew.



We stopped for about an hour for lunch.



The hike was filled with wildflowers, but they weren't enough to keep Elana awake.



Mount Rainier was looking good.



This was the end of the trail: Mason Lake, a beautiful apline lake at 4200 feet.
